Longford Town Council wishes to dedicate a public art commission as a recognition and celebration of the achievements of Longford emigrants everywhere. Longford emigrants emigrated to every point on the globe and both they and their descendents made enormous positive contributions to their host societies in every walk of life, from sport through business and politics to culture and entertainment.
