THE MAIN PAGE OF LONGFORD TOWN COUNCIL'S PLANNING DEPARTMENT

The Longford Heritage Forum, in partnership with the Longford Heritage Office want to hear your views and ideas about heritage for the preparation of the next Longford Heritage Plan.  The Heritage Plan is a countywide action plan which aims to protect, enhance and promote awareness of heritage in Longford.  The Heritage Plan is led by Longford Local Authorities and guided by the Longford Heritage Forum, a partnership with other national bodies and local community and heritage groups. 

In order to build on the successes of the Longford Heritage Plan 2004-2009, and to ensure that the next Heritage Plan truly reflects the heritage needs of Co.  Longford, the Heritage Officer is asking the public to submit their opinions on heritage in their Longford.
